Exhaust Cam Pulley
#1
I am going to be changing my Timing belt in the next few weeks. Already bought the belt, idler, and tensioner. I am considering buying and installing an adjustible/lighter CAM pulley. My question is, is it worth the $100 and what kind of HP would they allow?

So I guess from reading that article that it isnt the actual weight of the pulley that makes the power difference it is the tuning on a dyno of the sprocket that actually did it?

Don't forget dyno time to get them tuned... that'll almost double what you payed for the sprockets. BTW, I believe you need both the intake and cam sprocket pulleys for it to work... if I'm not mistaken. ;?

Nope there is only one sprocket that attaches to the timing belt (the exhaust sprocket). Then on the other side of the exhaust cam there is a chain that attaches the two cams. Those sprockets look to be made into the cam while the one on the end of the exhaust cam is removable.
