Has anyone tryed to swap a newer model 2.7 gt v6 engine in a beta 1 1.8 tiburon?
I Have the 1997 tiburon with a 1.8 auto and was wondering if that swap was possible?

Possible, yes. Worth it? No. It so much heavier and would be a lot of work. With the extra weight the power wouldnt be that much more. Spend the money elsewhere such as a reliable turbo kit or NA mods.

Best power adder for you right now would be a manual swap.

Please search, and if you don't know how to search properly, work with it for awhile, this has been discussed to death.

WTF would you downgrade your engine?
