After much frustration and cursing I finally got my ECU unbolted! But i cant seem to get the clip thing off to get the harness dicsonnected from the ECU... Ive searched for hours and there seems to not be any DIY threads on ECU removal or anything really besides how much of a pain in the ass it is... which i can now agree with lol!
So ive got the ECU unbolted.. but i cant seem to get the little clip off to get the harness disconnected!! i was pretty frustrated with it yesterday so if i tried again i might be able to do it.. but is there a trick to this?? or a certain tool u need.. ive never seen a clip like this before :S

Seriously? There is a metal bracket on top of the connector, on the side where the wiring comes out of the connector. Pull on the bracket. It's a lever that jams the connector onto the ECM when you push the lever towards the computer. Pull up on the metal lever and the connector moves away from the ECM. Then wiggle/pull and the tab will come out of the other side.

It is actually posted several times, but you have to HYPEREXTEND the harness.
It's pretty easy.
1. Cut the zipties holding the ECU harness (not all tibs seem to have these).
2. Pull the metal latch open.
3. Pull the ECU harness from the ECU at the top end (the end where the metal latch opened).
4. Pull the ECU harness down so it is almost perpendicular to the ECU, like this ... []_ ~ With [] being the ECU, _ being the harness connector, and ~ being the harness wiring.
5. Harness should just slip out by pulling away from the ECU.
There is also a small brass screw right at the tip, but that should only hold the white harness connector to the black harness housing.

LOL I guess "wiggle/pull" means different things to different mechanics! Perhaps I should have added "alot" to that. It is hooked in there pretty far but nothing else should be holding the connectors together.
