I appreciate that, Random. I forgot you mentioned that above. Don't feel rushed. It will take that damn filter at least 4 weeks to come in. Thanks ahead of time though...

Aight..for all those that want the most out of their intake without voiding the warrantee and keepin that damn check engine light off...go to the Hyundai Car Club of Ontario's website...they give step by step intstructions on where to place all the sensors and how to position the pipes and the cone.

Just an idea, but you should save up and get either a CAI or a short ram intake. If you decide to get a CAI, then go with either KORE or MHP. As far as short ram intakes, I have the dragon intake from Weapon R. Eventually I'll most likely be going with a CAI, but the Dragon is good for now. Anyway, building your own intake really isn't too hard and I'm sure with some time and a couple of good idea's, you'll be able to create something pretty good for performance as well as show.

"CAI"?
"short ram intake"?
KORE?
MHP?

Remember, I know nothing. I have no idea what a CAI is. Let's stick with the cone air filter for now.

CAI is a Cold Air Intake. A TRUE CAI draws air from somewhere outside of the engine compartment, totally replacing the stock airbox and resonator.

Short Intake, or Short "Ram" Intake is a short metal tube that replaces the stock airbox and resonator, and ends in the engine bay. Weapon-R's intake is the best example of this. It is not a CAI.

Hey Guys,

I want to apologize first of all if someone has already asked this question. I need to find out if someone can tell me where I can get a K&N Cone filter(RU 2940). Thanks for your response in advance.

TheRev:
Any auto parts store that carries K&N filters can order it for you, or Summitracing.com can ship it to you.
