Default Do we have Direct Port Fuel Injected..

Sorry to post here, but it seem to make sense since it's fuel too.....But do the 98+ Sephias Have Direct Port Fuel Injection.....Or how about any of Our korean cars......Can you guys list some....Thanks.the reason I asked is becaused I read that This is better then Conventional Multi Port Fuel injection where the injections come from the manifold.......My Source The Novemer Sportcompact Car Issue....Page 237 Performance Directory......Let me know Please Reply....Thanks Again.....

this might not help but my car(01 elantra) has a multi port injection. i would venture to say that yours would too but dont hold me to that
ill do some checking online and try and find out for you

By direct port, are you referring to Gasoline Direct Injection? I read that article too, and GDI is a technology that hasn't yet made it into a production vehicle yet, but I understand that it will soon.

Your Kia and just about everyone else's car in here has multi port FI, which injects the fuel into the intake manifold, right before the mixture gets sucked into the cylinder.

My Daewoo 2.2L motor is MPFI, and distributorless ignition.

Technically it's an offshoot of the Holden family II engine GM uses in Australia, and european Opel engines.

My mothers Accent 1.6 is pretty much the same setup, MPFI and distributorless. I think Kia was pretty much alone in using TBI on the Rio engine... the Sephia shoudl have MPFI.

Yeah it does have MPFI for my car...Man you guys work fast.....But do I have a the same ignition.. I think mine is made by bosch but I dont' think that helps....
