they make an o2 sensor socket and with it and some penetrating oil I usually don't have any problems.

I was saying tims right (the connectors on the inside), then in addition the newer tibs have it on the outside, like on my tib.

why the hell did Hyundai make the o2 sensors like that for the first gen tibs anyway?

The o2 sensor on mine, an old 1997 Rev A FX had its harness outside, under the car...

Seems like someone came up with a "bright idea" that turned out to just be a PITA stupid idea. Heh...
