In Desperate Need Of Help Removing O2 Sensor
#1
i was wondering exactly how to remove the o2 sensor. the after cat o2 sensor. im wondering how to get at the plug in piece. it seems to be surrounded by a rubber piece and located in the car. do i just pull that out? someone please help as i have the car jacked up and ready to change it.

It is a 22mm wrench, and if it is the rear o2 then you will need to unhook the plug inside the cabin behind the radio and then it will come out through the grommet in the floor.

the wire you see is plugged into my exhaust after cat . the white piece with the prongs is part of the sensor that i pulled apart. you can see the bung. its an aftermarket cat.
ok. the rubber piece turned out to be a grommet, which i pulled out with a flat screwdriver. but the o2 plug-in piece is up in the hole and i cant pull it out. should the piece be coming out?
