Is the car under warranty? My auto tranny was replaced after only 62,000 miles.

After another 65,000 miles (now) it blew up again.

I'll be swapping to a manual as soon as I get all of the parts. The actual transmission is coming in today :-)

Still need shifter linkage, some brackets, fluid lines & resevoir, etc....

Nope, no warranty left on the car. Never had any major problems with it either (except losing power steering after a mechanic used the wrong pulley puller changing the timing belt, not something you want to happen as you are moving from Illinois to Oregon by yourself).

Anyways, they say the pulse generator is out on the car, and that is why it doesn't upshift anymore. Would that be a correct statement?
