Default Compression test

Jaws01 did a compression test today and the results were:
Cylinder 1: 209
Cylinder 2: 195
Cylinder 2: with oil 240
Cylinder 3: 215
Cylinder 4: 205
A brand new tiburon should have a compression of 213. My question is should i replace the rings this year or wait till next year when i get my turbo, and also am i losing alot of power or not. I'm also curious to know if anyone out there knows if that engine restore works or is a gimmick. From what i hear it does work just as long as you do it with every oil change.

Better get the rings changed man...a year of use is a long time for any automobile, so try your best to keep your engine in top shape in lieu of next year's turbocharging.

Yeah, you neve know, it's better to have everything OK. If the rings are not 100% OK it's an indication of wear and more consequences could come in the near future before you get your turbo. Besides, a year is a long time and if for any reason you have to delay the turbo project, your engine wont be in a good situation.
Just don't spend too much on pieces your going to drop later.

Cylinder 3 shouldnt be at 215... Espically after 90 kms, are you sure it didnt have oil or was flooded when you did the test?
P.S. I know a guy who at 185 on two cylinders and ran it for a year burning a small amount of oil...

213psi. Though i had a bad ground wire for my battery since it was relocated to the back but now is in the front and the engine is cranking faster, so me and jaws are going to do an oil change, throw some engine restore, and retest that cylinder and hopefully it shoots up over 200.

I don't think i could get warranty for that since it's due to regular wear and tear.

Your powertrain is under warranty until 100km, that means it will stay in spec until 100km, its outta spec, thats not wear and tear somethings wrong. I would push for warranty. I mean your only at 90km, whats gonna happen when your at 150 or 200? Try anyways.
