I'm looking at buying a stage 2 clutch for my 01 tibby but not sure what one to buy. I'm looking at the unorthodox racing ultra g kevlar clutch kit but I have no idea what the diference between rigid and sprung hub is or windowed and full face. if anyone could tell me which would be best or if there is a better and/or cheaper alternative please let me know

A lot of folks here have gone with the VHR Series, they make very good clutch KITS, for a great price.

350 HP.

They are way cheaper then the VHR and my stage 2 is holding almost 300ftq @ the wheels no problem.

That website doesn't work.

I found their site though, and they don't have much info on the clutches.

I'm assuming it's JUST the clutch?

The VHR Clutches go for around $300 shipped by themselves.

What are they rated to? Doesn't seem like any of their dealers have any pricing info or clutches listed.

I found the Retail Price list on their site, you must be smokin Gary.

LMAO

They have 3 clutches listed for us.

05-0871 = Cheapest
572.29 CAD Canada Dollars = 479.125 USD United States Dollars

05-0872 = Second Cheapest
743.29 CAD Canada Dollars = 622.291 USD United States Dollars

05-0873 = Most expensive
823.50 CAD Canada Dollars = 689.416 USD United States Dollars

Considering you can get the VHR setup, WITH A FLYWHEEL AND PRESSURE PLATE for that price, I don't see how this is cheaper. Oh, and that's shipped, who knows how much they'll rape you for S/H.

I'm not sure I want to go with the 4 plate full racing clutch... this is my daily driver and Isn't it really hard to drive a car with to agressive of a clutch... I don't think I'll ever be going more than 300hp so I don't need to agressive of a clutch to handle my needs

Redz.

Not sure whats up with there pricing but when I bought mine last year after my Spec stage 3 fell apart. I did not pay that much.

I piad around 450 Can. shipping/tax incl. For my stage 2. The stage 2 was said to be able to hold 300 WTQ. And its doing a fine job in my car.

Maybe they increased the prices since last year sad.gif
