CD-2 engine detailer kit is the STUFF!!! I've used it and it does make your engine look brand new when done. The stuff stinks to high heaven...so do it in your driveway...not your garage!

How will that CD-2 stuff react with any painted engine part (exp. Wire cover, intake pipes, caps & stuff)?

They recomend keeping it off of yr windshield, body panels, distributor (coil in our case) and the open end of the intake. Other than that it's pretty much hose down the whole thing with CD2 and watch in amazement.... This stuff really works.

Hmm... you sure it's discontinued? I mean, this is made by Turtle Wax, and seems pretty popular smile.gif

Just did a little search...

it DOES mess up painted engines,... i know by experience.
You cna avoid this by just not touching the parts that are painted. You can still spray on them, but dont try to wipe them clean, or youll pay for it.
I have to repaint my engine again.

Hey,... but the stuff works REAL good. wink.gif
