QUOTE (JennyTib @ Sep 9 2005, 09:16 AM)
It was raining a lot, but it's been pretty dry for the past 2 weeks.

I ask because I'm suspecting Coil pack

But when was the last time your fuel filter was replaced?

do you know the actual error code? we could look i up in webtech then. what did the plugs look like once pulled out? usually all 4 plugs aren't going to go bad at the same time. I'm guessing like others have said it's the coil packs.

a cel # would be great though. btw, the convertor is a possibility it's just unlikely that it would kill your car, you'd probably only have decreased power from it.

Cookies for everyone who guessed crank sensor!!!!!!! cookie.gif

That was the problem. The dealership had it fixed that same day but we're letting them change the timing belt while they have my Tib there. I've got 108,000 miles and don't want to risk it anymore.

Thanks for all of your advice & have any of you had this problem?

Fantastic.

Belive it or not, same car with the TPS problem has a occasional CEL for the Crank Sensor. I may have to replace it too.

I'm glad to see that others have had this problem. I had never heard of this sensor before.

I got my car back this morning! She's running great now! I'm guessing that the timing belt was on it's way out. My Tibby seems like she's got more power now. Yeah for a tune up, lol! lmao.gif
