Whether you get it form your dealer or Kspec.

i read somewhere that when you drive "spirited" the car turns off the egr system which is prob why the light is only on when you drive normal

^^^ Its because if you drive hard the Purge Control Valve will be wide open the whole time. But during normal driving it only opens partially depending on the pressure in the IM so in turn your rpms.

I know Java has a RD1, but don't know if it's Rev A or not.
