Default Cat-back comparison?

For the 2001 2.0 Tib.

HVE offers the excellent 2.5" Stainless steel cat-back for a decent $ 467.505 USD.
The Aluminum is alos a decent value at a cheaper cost.

I just noticed that Kore is comming out with one also. Whats the comparison to the HVE?

I'd perfer a Stainless Steel cat-back, and most all locals dont sell those.

You can get HVE's through SR.
The Kore is the about the same, but I was wondering the quality.

BTW, MBRP is only the 2.25", they dont offer the 2.5" cat-back. This meaning its useless for the 2.0 Manual Tiburon.

Any info on Kores?

Why do you say that a 2.25" cat back system is meaning less for a 2.0 tib manual, that is what im going with? From what Ive heard people have had problems with 2.5" systems because there isnt enough back pressure, they lose to much torque! Unless your gonna have a big fatty turbo, good luck with that 2.5" setup!

The entire backpressure thing is theoreticly a myth, unless your only performance modification on your car is a cat-back. Remember, I dont want to say that the 2.25" on a Manual is meaningless, you just see better numbers and times on a 2.5" on a non-stock Tiburon.

This is going on a N/A engine with respectable mods, so the 2.5" will be of greater importance and bennifit over the 2.25".

I'm am trying to not go over to Kores site, becuase they will hold biased opinions on the Kore cat-back vrs HVE.

Bradley, any comments?
