Cat cams....
Inlet cam: 254 degree duration, 10.15mm lift
Exhaust cam: 248 degrees, 10.00mm lift.
valve overlap is 30 degrees.
i have more detail if you need it. ?
thats the specs for the NA spec cams. Cat Cams have 3 other profiles that are for turbo applications, which im afraid i dont know.

This reminds back in the day in 2002 when i tested a set for JRP here in Canada for these cams when i was N/A
I rememeber having only Intake, headers with exhaust and gained 14WHP on the dyno. These were defently lumpy cams when i had them in my car fing02.gif

I did a serach and found an old thread on the catcams stating a 14WHP gain without tunning at all...

Redzman: may i ask what those cam specs were please? and was that under a F/I or N/A setup?
2UNIQ: yea i found those threads, but i thought u said above ^ that you tested them yourself? in regards to the tuning of them, did you do fueling, timing, or both or neither?
i have just got the SMT-6 to use with them. but i cant find any resource to say what ECU work had been done/ not done to acheive this 14whp.
i have found a small list of mods, much like what you listed above, but no ECU stated, so does that mean they were effectively 'un-dialed' to make those gains?
thanks,
Aaron

I've got the specs posted somewhere, they are the KFX Peformance cams, we are looking for someone to get them and do a before and after TUNED dyno on them, info is posted.

They were nice in my car. Decent power and nice smooth idle. I did end up wishing I had gone with something bigger. Maybe some 264's.
