this cai will be under my hood prolly by the weekend, it's leaving cali 2morrow. I just wanna know, since i haven't really taken a look at the stuff under my hood in great detail, how easy (or difficult) of a job the remove and replace is.

yea, i found it funny it's called jspec. silly japs...java told me that this is the same one he's got. (or at least thats what i was lead to believe)

just some cheap knock off...having no name attached to it saved me $100. i just hope for proper fitment

 

but what style does it simulate? an aem style or injen? where does the filter sit? under the battery or in the fenderwell?

 

That is the same thing I have. I cut the upper tube in half to put in the AEM bypass valve. The hardest part is getting the little mounting tab/bolt/rubber thingy to stay secured. Just make sure you do not let the upper tube touch your positive battery wire, it is real close. Glad to see you took the advice! laugh.gif

 

i'm pretty sure this is going under the battery. java will have to confirm that for me. actually, java....confirm that for me! haha. it's due in friday (2morrow).

 

It goes to the side of the battery and then down under. Here is a picture.....
