That's the only connection to your CAI that holds it in place besides the rubber connectors.

Well, the install went pretty good. took a little less than an hour. i wasn't able to take many pics because i had to get this done before the store opened...and before any other employees came in. After the pics, i'm gonna ramble on some more....

I found absolutely no reason to cut into the wheel well, which i was led to believe i would...maybe i misunderstood that. But, i am EXTREMELY happy with the end result. The sound is a huge improvement, especially at mid range, and i can feel a huge change in the boost i get out of it. Can't believe i didn't do this the day i got the car. I can't wait for my cat back to get in (should be in either by the end of this week, or first couple days of next week). Me = happy laugh.gif

My god man, you hadn't even taken out your resonator?

You must have some specially shaped splash guard down there if you didn't have to cut it.
