Default Breather filter and weapon*r intake

okay, this might be a dumb question, but i'm not claiming to know alot about cars.. Anyway, i've got a weapon*r dragon intake on my car. Where the PCV valve outlets into the intake, it's split. (if you don't know what i'm talking about, you probably won't wink ) On the right side of the split, there's wiring for a sensor, but on the left side is where the pcv valve connects.

My question is this... If i put a breather filter on, do i need to block off the now open side of the split? or can i just leave it to suck in non-dirty air? or will that throw off my sensors?
thanks, guys.

it would probably be in your best interest to block off the to make sure that nothing gets sucked up. besides if you leave it open you'll be getting some hot air from off of your engine into the intake, which would defeat the purpose of having the CAI in the first place.

good luck.
