By no means am I trying to knock this, I think it's great idea, but with just a flat surface mated directly to the runners you are already causing more loss than gain. Think of it this way, you wanted to get rid of the 90 degree bend so you're adding a complete surface of even more acute angles. The idea is awesome, but if you spend another 24 hours in R&D the outcome will be folds better. Look up plenum designs, flow tests, etc. You're 50% of the way to a good design, now complete it

I finished the throttle body tonight, shaving the butterfly valve down so it was "perfectly" oblong took almost an hour to, and hour to go from 61mm to 60mm. Nice smooth movement...

Lol thanks. Its a poppy as remembrance of those who gave their life in search of peace, almost all our soldiers who return from overseas and have lost a friend or been injured have one somewhere.

We do flags, crosses and the POW/MIA shield/flag silhouette guy. Poppy Day means jack doodly squat south of the Northern border. It is an amusing coincidence that the last image I had for my desktop background (changed 2 days ago) was a field of blooming red poppies, ostensibly in Flanders.
. . . so an American male sporting flower tattoos would be *ahem* suspect

Ah gotcha now! I have worked closely with many Americans overseas since they did a lot of our 'Angel Flight' when a soldier was killed on patrol and was brought to Kandahar Air Field. Its amazing at how different two countries are even though we are direct neighbors.
