What is the best CAI that u can get?

 

well, i have the Injen Race Division CAI...I LOVE IT!!! Ive had the weapon r and the MHP... and the injen is the best by far.

I'm not sure how many people have the Injen intake, but the ones who have it absolutely love it (including me). I am not sure how well SR's or KORE's is going to be, but they should be great intakes also.

 

I'm using a KORE CAI and it works great.

 

How "better" is it? What would you say are it's strengths? Looks? Quality? Filter? Performance? Sound?

 

Yea, just make your own, all your paying for a tube with bends in it and the filter

 

yeah, just do a search for the random special(cai) that'll give you an idea on what to do if you decide to do it yourself.

Stay away from any filter that just uses metal mesh as their filter medium. These filters flow great, but they do not do a great job of filtering the air.

I personally prefer the "cotton gauze" style similar to K&N. I personally really don't like "foam" air filters. I just don't think they do a good enough job of filtering the air.

 

Everything about the intake seems to be perfect. It's not too low for worrying about puddles. It's a well known name. Sounds awesome. Easy installation. You FEEL the difference throughout the RPM range. 2.75" Polished piping with Injen logo placed nicely for show. Simply a great product. The price is kinda steep if you don't know certain people. wink
