Hay people

I need to get all my belts changed as they are around due.

Is this an easy job to do yourself?
any one no of belt numbers or descriptions

How many belts need to be changed? 4?

any info or help would be cool

Changing the belts can be a real pain in the ass!
Unless you have time/tools, I'd pay someone to do it! If your timing belt needs changed too, I'd definately let someone who knows what they're doing...do it. *(my opinio of course)...

I wouldnt know about the timing belt but i did change the three exposed belts last week. Not hard to do yourself if you have jack-stands and a set of ratchets or wrenches.

O'reilly's usually has them in stock, about $11-$14 a piece.

Send me an email and i'll sent you a write up of the install. And you might as well do all three at the same time cuz you have to remove all of them anyway to get to the AC belt.

MILAGE WAS 100,000 KMS
**** MY CAM BELT WAS ****ED!!
SO WAS MY POWER STEARING BELT.

Symptoms:
Faint squell when turning car off.
sounded a bit like a hilux 4wd
bearings sounded like they were going.
...
REPLACED ALL BELTS AND TENSIONER
NOISE GONE!!
BEARINGS WERE FINE.

COST $371 NZD

I had 120,000miles on mine. $30 and 2hrs I did it myself smile.gif
