This is part of my weekend BIM project, but i'm making another post for people having hard time setting the throttle cables.

Modification of cruise control
1.grab one end of the tip with a pliers
2. take a dremel and cut one side of it off about 1mm from the cable (see pic)
3. install, and it won't fall out!

 

You lost me man. I'm an idiot, but could you be a bit more... Specific on what you're talkin about or doin?

 

Ok, when you install a BBTB the cruise control cable tends to "slip" out of the "sleeve". So by cutting half of it off, it can not "slide" out.

 

Did he just dremmel his throttle cable?

and no he JUST cut the METAL "tablet" on the end in half. but he does like to expose his engine to harmful thing's...

Nice write up. If you could, could you get a good closeup of the modified end of the cruise cable, and another with it installed? (key words...CLOSE UP)
