The swap isn't that "hard", it's just time consuming. You'll need some unusual equipment, but nothing your local 'rental' store won't have available for under $20 a day. (sawzall or big powerful drill, engine lift (makes life easier if you yank the motor), but other than those 2 things, it's fairly straight foward. A used manual tranny runs about $250. You'll also need a clutch/pressure plate assembly. Shift cables, shifter base, shifter lever, clutch pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder. It can be done for under $500 if you do it yourself, or it can cost over $2000 if you pay someone to do it.

The question is....how much do you love your car? If you don't love it, then trade it in on one you do love. If you DO love it, then no other car is really gonna make you happy.

I am also going thru an Auto to Manual swap.

Having a hard time looking for the correct gear box.
What i have heard from the Mechs around my area, they
believe 93-96 Mit Gear box and Tranmission will just plug and play.

Kind of....Random has a list but it is for a swap into the Accent.
Not sure if it would be the same for a Tib to Tib swap.
