Default Auto to manual swap

If you take a look around this forum, and look at some of the pics of peoples cars, you will see that an RD tiburon is definately worth fixin' up. I love the fact that not everyone knows what my car is. And that it is different than all the Honduhs out there. Yes parts are easier to get for the other cars but that is part of the fun of owning a rare car. If you want to go the easy route buy a honduh. If you want to be a little different then stick with your tibby. Even though it is auto, it still has one of the best body designs ever. I don't know how much a tranny swap would be, but I would rather have an auto tibby than a 5sp honduh.

I guess it all comes down to what kind of mods each car is running. Oh and driver ability, don't forget that most of the times, it can be the "nut behind the wheel" that is the biggest factor in seeing which car is quicker. Faster how? in a straight line? or around a track? Tibbys handle much better than honduhs, and are much more suited to going around corners than blasting in straight lines.

yeah just do the swap, you'll learn tons about your car, and even feel that much more satisfaction when you feel like chirping 2nd or even doing a legit burn out. I did the swap. Just make sure you do your homework, I'm here to help, and tons of other guys did it. Its no rare mod anymore. Straight swap, it can be done in a weekend if you prepare right and ask all the questions you can ahead of time. Its the best mod I've ever done and I have about 20,000$ plus into the tib already. What else can I say.

oh yeah price, the lowest I've heard of on this swap was 500 bux I believe the average is somewhere around 1000, but if you do what I mentioned before, research places to buy (LOTS OF EM) and make sure you get the right list of thing to look for first. So hope that helps.
