I just want to know how many people actually bought the clutch and how many have had problems with it. Provide pics if you can.
I'm gonna send back my last kit telling them to shove it up...........
And if the manager tells me (again!) that they design perfect clutch kits and they've never heard of failures, then I want to direct them to this post.
I don't care to get another kit back, just want them to realize they are crap.

I've gone through 2 kits.

1st one. The springs fell out of the disk on the first kit, shredding everything and scoring my bell housing and flywheel.

2nd kit: The thin stack of plates on the pressure plate fell apart and again shredded everything inside the tranny and bent the pressure plate not allowing me to shift.

So what's your opinion of Spec's "flawless" design?

i ordered a spec stage 2 back in the day from kore motorsports, had tons of chatter when i started it, but that went away, big problem i had was when id drive on trips for long lengths, it would totally stop gripping. so id have to pull over, and let it cool down till i could drive again. kore told me pretty much to screw myself. so i contacted spec directly. for 100 bux, he upgraded it to a stage 3, and shipped that new one to me. i installed the new clutch in july of last year. as of now even with the proper brake in period, it slipd horribly, off the line, i have to baby it like u wouldnt believe. if im in 3rd gear, foot off the clutch at 35 mph, it will slip.....
