That may be true. But ALL exhuasts made for our cars do not replace the second cat. Thats what I was basing my answer off of.

of course of course, i'm sorry. i forgot to mention--i was referring to the headers that come with a downpipe. the downpipe replaces the first cat.

i shouldn't have disregarded the fact that some headers come with a downpipe and some don't.

 

I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I did open the box and look through everything and the quality looks excellent. Both the muffler and the mid-pipe resonator are perforated core. The welds are top notch and the gaskets and bolts are all in place. I'll definitely take lots of pics when I do the install.

Even the silencer looks good! (Though I probably won't use it)

I'm usually pretty up on these things but I've never heard of muffler bearings.
