If your really desperate any muffler shop can change the flanges for you for $30 or so... if the exhaust paths for all 2Gs are the same.

Don't forget too that you'll prolly have to get a new cat installed too. And if you have 4-2-1 or 4-1 headers the stock cat will be no good.

So either way you're gonna be doing some cutting and welding to get stuff trued up.

with headers you have to get a high flow cat to replace the downpipe when using a cat-back exhaust. hence, there is no second cat.

if yo have just headers you can bolt them right on and get rid of your first cat.

if you don't have headers but upgrade the exhaust, the exhaust gets rid of the second cat hence the sound.

if you have both, you heed a high flow cat and a resonator (included in cat-back) to control the exhaust flow coming through.

Dude you have no idea what you are talking about.....

All of the cat-backs bolt up to the STOCK second cat.

95% of the aftermarket headers will bolt directly up to the second cat removing ONLY the first cat.

You just have to make sure you have one o2 sensor before and one after a cat.

Most catbacks replace the second one... I think its about 50/50... depends on the maker of the exhaust.
