Default Anyone ever used a spiralmax in their intake?

I came across this site on the net. www.spiralmax.com They claim pretty crazy HP gains.

Has anyone ever used one and had any good results from it?

Crap, more restriction in your intake, do a search this has been talked about before. Key words such as rip-off, crap, and BS should bring it up lol smile.gif

BTW,... check the engine/intake/exhaust forum, someone just got it and tested it
The person who tested it was a STRONG believe in this kind of contraption

I refer to it as the cut up Pepsi can Mod.

But the sticker they send is like 80WHP..

Jaws I thought it was the E-Ram and soon to be tested TRUBO ZET.
The e-ram well as promised I guess but the Zet thing. LOL Like a zit it needs to be popped.

I beleive random put it best, and correct me if i butcher the quote but, even if it created a perfect spiral, and successfully kept the spiral throught the MAF grid, and then through the throttle body butterfly, then through the IM runners, down through the valves and into the cylinder, you wouldn't gain enough power to compensate for the restriction caused by the spiralmax in the first place. And hence you'd probably still loose power.

actually BV1 tested the e-ram and it did produce power, but only at WOT. The other stationary units did not.
