Default air flow sensor cai?

i have a 2k2 spectra and i was wondering if i move my air flow sensor into a better position to build a custom cai if it will cause any problems with my car? because as of right now its gonna be difficult to build one if i have to leave it where it is

You can move the MAF anywhere you want, but for best air flow measuring...

#1. It should be in the "straightest" section of pipe.
#2. It should be at least 6" away from the Throttle body and at least 6" away from the filter.

I have the same dilemma. I'm using a 92-00 civic short ram that you can pick up at any auto store. I was wondering that if one were to use this intake, if the sensor would fit into the hole designed for the civic sensor. If it does, building one shouldbe a breeze...

like I said, diameter.

If the pipe is the wrong diameter, the MAF readings will ALWAYS be off.

Nope. Just keep the MAF in more or less the same location. Make sure you include a hole for the Intake Air temp sensor...and you should be good to go!
