I'm just going to not give any advice in this thread or REDZMAN will kick my ass.

Yes, something like that will improve your performance from your regular air box.

What I suggest is getting an AEM clone off ebay or a genuine AEM. Those will give you the best bang for your buck.

This is what Tanc is talking about.

AEM clone is this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-98-99-00...124492350QQrdZ1

True AEM is this one

My thoughts are to buy the real AEM so you keep aftermarket support for us. I bought a true AEM.

The best place to put the filter is inside the fender well. The pipe should run under the battery tray, through the lining. The AEM clones are cheap, you would probably spend more having someone make one for you.

You can look over the install instructions for the AEM cold air intake here:

http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=8752

This should make it very clear for you. You're probaby talking about the IAT (intake air temperature) sensor - you should have a hole made somewhere in the piping for it.

Yeah the sensor you are reffering to is the IAT sensor, some AEM clone intakes have a hole for it in the piping. Just put that sensor right in there

Negativo. You need to put the sensor so that it is in the airflow of the intake.
