a dyno would be worth it because don't they tune your ECU to your mods as well? for a hundred dollars you'd better get something in return.

^ I don't know about the cost but Agarwal has the ability to re-tune stock ECUs... I think.

QUOTE (ABQelantra @ Sep 2 2005, 08:00 PM)
hey redz once i get my airram i can run a dyno for 58mm vs 65mm and a stocker if you have one i can throw on there. once the shizzle shows up.

OK, we take your word; please do it. It would be ideal to have a dyno of the 3 TB's (OEM 52, 58 and 65) on the two manis (OEM and AirRam).
Also, if you could get to the dyno with your car in good shape (freshly tuned up, new spark plugs, good condition wires, and so) that would get us the right numbers.

ok here is the deal i have a 2004 elantra. so the #'s will be similar, but not exactly the same. yes my car will be in great running condition. it will have fresh oil the plugs are onlyabout 5000 old and i will have newe belts cause i'm throwing light weight underdrive pullys on tomorrow. as for the oem and airram differences for the throttle bodies the 65 on the oem wouldnt even be worth the time. i think that out sizes the oem mani opening. if not i will look into it. this is gonna take money and time to get this done so please be patient. also i need the airram but it will get done. REDZ i need to call ina favor to get this done when you get your 65 i may ned to borrow it for the dyno day. let me know sucka

Yeah, and to make things worse, gas just shot up like 70 cents a gallon in 3 days thanks to that f***ing hurricane Katrina. mad.gif

Gas now costs $3.35 a gallon where I live. It sucks! mad.gif

I believe someone mentioned that the airram is 62mm? Please feel free to correct me. It'd be pretty dern convenient if KSpec came out with a 62mm one or whatever the #'s are.

But word of mouth is that they're already in the works! fing02.gif fing02.gif fing02.gif

65mm I think would be overkill IMO. It would probably improve power at high RPMs at the expense of the low end.

I think a 58mm would work best with the automatic, because we really do not have that much low end to begin with. As much as people say to stay away from SR, I think they are the only ones who make a 58mm TB.

UNLESS I bore out the stock one to 58mm, but I don't know how I'd go about doing that.

1. It's been posted several times. The Airram is 68MM and can be bored out to about 72MM.

2. Automatics suck my ass.
