Well, if you want, we can get a fund going so you can go get a dyno of you NOW, and one after the Airram.
I'd really REALLY like that.

Mmmm, that sounds cool, but I haven't researched anywhere around here to dyno. My friends tell me that there are a bunch of dynos around here so let me look into it a little bit. wink1.gif

Hey tdonnell, please do it!
You will be doing all of us a favor in clearing doubts with facts.
Just please do it on the same dyno, and if possible, same time of the day so there are not too many diffs in air temp, etc, etc.

I will be honest with you guys. The odds of me actually doing the dyno are minimal. I don't mean to be offensive or anything, it is just with college and work, there is hardly any time to do this stuff. And besides, I don't even have an rside TB, just the 65. Sorry about that, if I get time, I might look into it, but I am just really busy right now with homework and such. Thanks for the great offer though, a free dyno would be nice! smile.gif

(there may be some power increase, but it is barely noticeable), is that I still have the stock IM, with a 52mm bore at the TB flange. I would expect to lose some low end once I get the Airram (whenever Kspec ships it out), but I would also expect to gain a decent amount of top end as well.
You should get top end from the TB and Low end from the IM, but together they should work great

1. Dyno's are open on weekends usually.
2. You'd be doing a HUGE service to the entire Beta and Hyundai community in helping us dismiss these myths.
3. We are willing to help fund the dyno.
4. It would only take a few hours at most.
5. Doesn't matter if it's Rside or not, the 65MM BBTB debate has been raging for years, please, please think of your fellow tuners. sad.gif cool.gif joke.gif

So what would you want me to dyno? The 65 on the airram vs. the 52? Or the 65 on the stock IM vs. the 65 on the stock IM? I'm saying, if you want me to do the dyno of the 65 on the stock IM vs the 65 on the Airram, it would take at least two trips. I still don't know if I will be able to do it just yet, but the possibility is not gone. wink1.gif

How much does a dyno session, of say 2 or 3 runs, cost in the States? Everyone is always going on about not having the cash to get dynos done... Are they that pricey over there?
Over here the going rate is around $80AU (around $60US) for a few runs, from what I've seen/heard. They can be done for less if you time it to coincide with club dyno days or when they have special dyno days, like on the first/ third Saturday of the month & so forth.
