2001 Elantra Overheted Yesterday
#11
I was shocked to see it snapped in half. I just happy that nothing got circulated around in my cooling system. All pieces are accounted for.
I'm just glad it was an easy fix.
8 year old car, and it's only cost me $23.00 in parts (10 bucks for the thermostat and 13 bucks for coolant).
For as much crap as Hyundai's get, that's been the best car I've ever owned, well, that and my Tiburon. Everyone says Honda's are reliable. That's funny, cause I've owned two, and they've both been the biggest POS I've ever owned. My Honda Pilot that I currently own has leaked water in to the cabin on both floorboards, the EGR valve was faulty, and I've had various tranny issues.
