dammit, I was looking in NM too for an engine-tranny combo (beta II). Plenty of them out there, they have Pick N Pulls.. Apparently nobody crashes Hyundais in AZ, or collect crashed Hyundais..

Ugh. I think I'm gonna just try and get away with running the "damaged" pistons and I'll just fix the valvetrain components..

I DID see a "Pull-A-Part" number advertised on this guy's truck driving on the 51 yesterday. I guess they're local, their number is
602-272-6785

and I've installed a turbo on a beta engine before, it can be done in one day (one afternoon with proper planning). The in depth tuning aspects are where I am no help to you. I can install and get one running but to have a set-up properly dialed in is more than I can accomplish right now..

Happy to help, I've got WAY too many tiburon parts.

Dude, you should have asked for that too!

I have two of them lying around, lol.

Good luck, FYI the dealer usually has them in stock around here for 15 bucks. So if you still don't have one now go there before they close!!!

^^^^ 2 of the weeks where me looking for flyweel lol
it is done, but for some reason it sputters and wont stay on unless i keep the accelerator pressed????
it feels like its running on two cylinders RPM's stay at about 900 but wont go over even at full throttle, was told it might be the IM gasket, since i used the old one for now 02.gif

if you can get it to idle (or keep it "idling" with the throttle cable) spray some carb cleaner around the im gasket area and see if the rpms jump.

otherwise, it's probably just some vacuum issue.

I spoke too soon, could the FPR make the car stutter, and make acceleration feel rough? went trough 12 injectors and it still has a little hesitation, and black smoke at the muffler

I have searched all day even replaced fuel regulator and no luck, I'm about to give up on it 02.gif it is running way too rich.....

FIXED THE INTAKE SENSOR WAS ON BACKWARDS WHAT A NEWB!!!! HAHA
