Hmmmm. Techcontib, I am surprised that you have the S/C and are only at 147 whp. Did I mis-understand you? How much are people getting at the wheels with the S/C?

Someone needs to take a chance on those SR cams. I may once I start working on my car again.
SR's site claims "up to 20HP". Would these be OK for a daily driven vehicle? I would assume not...

Yep thats a whopping 147 at the wheels. But the problem is right now that I test a few weeks back I am only running 3psi. But I only have a custom cat-back as well and random CAI. Now Xorro on the other hand has a junk load of mods and is running I think she said 200 at the flywheel. Running alot more boost and water injection the list goes on.lol

As Alpine states the S/C is supposed to add about 40hp and 50ft/lb of torque. So those #s are close to what he should be getting. Then again those #s are on a STOCK 2.0L Beta.

Nope, their SC gives 20 WHP. That's what the Elantra got with the SC installed, that's why Techcontib got with it installed. (I think he's almost up to the 25 WHP mark now).

The 4 Cylinder SC kit isn't worth your time until Alpine redesigns it to produce some better numbers for the $2500 cost.

With smaller pullies to boost you to 8-11psi you should be able to get 40percent power to the wheels with the SC

When we dynoed my car mostly stock I was at 123 hp to the wheels at 121 trq i beleive. Thats where Random gets 20 hp more.
Only mods was custom catback and a cone air filter.

i would just be happy to have 5 or 6 psi.

what_the thumbs_d Damn, and here I was about to plunk a chunk of change to the side for it.

Is it still because of the whole UNICHIP deal? What about the turbo? How is yours running now?
