true, an oil catch would take care of that... but why not use the factory piece as well? It certainly beats having to empty the catch can every week.
and having to add oil more often.

Naw, just put a drain hose on an air/oil seperator (different from a catch can) and connect it to the oil pan.

yeah, going off topic a little but just to make sure. pertains to the conversation above.
random, didnt you find out that the two(1.8 and 2.0) different sizes of the betas arent due strictly just to stroke? isnt one of the actual blocks taller too?

The 2.0L and 1.8L blocks are different. As are the Cranks, Rods and Pistons.
The bore is identical, as are the heads.
None of that is "new" news.
The 1.8L Block is 11mm shorter(height, not length) than the 2.0L block.
The 1.8L rods are 2.5mm shorter (length) than the 2.0L rods
The 1.8L Crank has 8.5mm less throw
The 1.8L Pistons have a 2 mm dome The 2.0L Pistons have a .5mm dome
The bore is 82mm for both.
Again, none of that is "new" news.

Cool. What sucks is the whole job ended up costing about $1200. They had to replace lifters and stuff. The engine had been severely overheated, so it took a lot to fix it up. So now Im $600 more in debt. Im so pissed.
