I got my car back from the body shop yesterday smile.gif ...so my treat to her was the Throttle body mod and clean the throttle body with Gumot Intake/Throttle body cleaner....after cleaning it I had a CEL sad.gif ...but went away on the way to autozone, I feel the difference with the cleaning...This was an excellent write up and it did not take long to do....Thanks Redz

No problem. You should notice that the engine doesn't lose as much HP after it warms up now too. That effect is even more pronounced after more cooling modifications.

I can't get the ******y coolant lines off either end! They're stuck on both the TB and where it originates from. Any suggestions on how to get the lines off the nipples? (yes, I did remove those clamps...)

Neither of the above. It's actually pretty easy. Stretch them out just a bit, get a pair of slipjaw pliers, and twist the rubber around the nipple a bit. Should break loose.

oh cmon, just take a stanley knife and cut that fugger vertically. then pony up $ 0.45 for 3 inches of small coolant hose to make a loop if you dont have something lying around lol.

The other problem was just trying to get in there at it!! I didn't take off the TB, just my CAI going into it, and it was sooo hard to even get at the clamps! Redz, what do you mean stretch them out a bit? Do you mean after they're off to get them back on?
Thanks for all the advice guys!
