^^^^ That's kind of like Arkansas when you go way down south. Haha. I'd kill myself if I lived down in the Poor part of Arkansas.

Let's all take over Rhode Island and call it "Tibination"....errr something along those lines.

24/7 alcohol and lottery!!!

Yay to the carnage that will happen on the highways tomorrow as everybody tries to go 100 in their death-trap car. Any idea when they will be able to fund anything again?

^^^ I'm sure that will be a bit of an issue, but I'd be more worried about the people that will take advantage of the cutbacks for a crime spree. You know it's gonna happen.

the neccesary stuff will still be up and going if the shutdown still happens.. the state police will be up and running.. the state will NOT sacrifice safety during this shutdown.

Wrong on that. It's already been stated that 90% of the state police will shut down. Only the court system will still be fully functional.

I saw on the news the other day that MGM just opened a new hotel and casino in Detroit....is there any chance that shutting things down is just a threat or scare tactic?

Tell people that the state police are shutting down, so they stop looking for cops while their speeding and nail a TON of idiots on the road with HUGE fines.

Or make a killing on the blitz to buy liquor and lottery tickets...

Well since no one has mentioned that this lockout didn't last very long.

Actually lasted 4hours LOL.

This tactic was only to get a bigger budget for MI from the government.

No 35000 employees were laid off or anything. LOL. It was an easy way to increase budget.
