If you are going to chauk.. use the clear stuff and remove the lights and use it where the gaskets are. No sense in mucking up the outside of your car

This is a common issue with cars that have been in an accident, if this is not the issue it's just the weather stripping. After a while the rubber will actually shrink due to weather (heat, rain, cold, snow) The major culprit is heat. I don't think aftermarket replacement weather stripping is that much. Also make sure the drain holes in the spare tire boot not clogged. If you don't have any holes ........ make some.
