So what the heck is going on in this post? Is SOCKS hacking the site or members of the site and telling us what kind of security volounerabilities are here? I don't think that sounds like a good idea.

That won't stop it. Mac users generally don't care for actually using their computer. If they do care for using their computer they cant, becacuse there's like 6 software titles out there for them. They already played all the games for the MAC on the PC about 3 years ago. Macs are slower then PCs and not better at graphics/sound/video editing for the last 6 years. The only reason they get hacked less is because less people use them.



Macs are capable of creating a VPN.

No, not quite. MAC's are the industry standard when it comes to graphics, sound, and video. Ask ANY desktop publisher, arts studio, basically anyone using art in the digital medium, they will ALL tell you that MAC's are the best in the industry hands down.

But, back on topic again, should I be worried about being on the site???? Am I gonna get a virus?

They used to be 5 years ago. People need to stop spreading that rumor... Anything you can do on a mac can be done on a PC faster now. Also the macs stopped using mac processors, they use PC processors now. It's not much of a wonder why. The MAC is no longer what it used to be. They're a PC running interperator software to run MAC software which slows it down. Also, everything is cross platform as well. You may as well buy a good video card and a good processor for a PC and buy photoshop.



They STILL make photoshop for the MAC too, but it's usually a version behind the PC.

Ok socks.. without the details of what happened.. this thread is useless. It is nice to warn people that something is going on.. but spill the beans, really warn people about what the problem is. It's like telling people "the end is near" but not mentioning that you are talking about a galactic time frame and that we have 90 million years until sun goes nova and takes the earth with it
