So i get to work the other day and i realize i forgot my lunch. I look at the clock and i still have about 15 min before work starts. I figure if i hurry i can make it home and back and not be too late (i only live about 10 min from work). So i haul ass out of the parking lot not thinking about anything but getting back to work as quick as possible. The road from work to my house is full of a lot of bad dips so i can't do over 95 (thank god) or i start to get squirrelly and wouldn't you know i passed a cop going the other way. By the time i realize it, it was too late so i pulled over. There were none of the normal formalities (i.e. "do you know why i pulled you over?") it was kind of obvious. I give him my license and registration, he tells me to step out of the car, i ask him how fast he clocked me at, he shows me the radar showing 93 MPH (in a 55), then he writes me a ticket for exceeding 85 mph anywhere and a court date for next month. So i have an appointment to see a lawyer tommorrow. Hopefully he can help get the ticket down from a criminal speeding to a civil so i can just take the driving class and be done with it. Atleast he let me go so i could get back to work, gotta make some money to pay for this one. I think i'm done speeding for a while.
If I drove a Honda this would have never happened! lol!

Um..ya I'd consider that speeding. Next time do not speed. So you forget your lunch, pay 10 bucks and order.

You risked your life, cops life, and possibly anyone on that stretch of roads life for your dam lunch?? Suck it up and buy your lunch for one day. Lunch costs what, about $7 from any fast food place, now you are paying a ticket and your insurance will jump nice and high...good call. dont be surprised if ya loose your license(dependin on how old you are) which you completely deserve

Yeah guys i realize it was stupid. As far as sucking it up and just buying lunch goes, there is no place to buy lunch where i work so its bring your lunch or don't eat. either way no excuse, it wont be happening again i think i've learned my lesson. Next time i'll just be late.

I can't stand speeding in the Tib, I hate to see it tached up more than ~3200rpm.
