Jammers are banned in some states. But if it is out of sight they cant really search your car for it or prove you were using one. I want to make myself a license plate that flips up into the bumper. That would be cool...

Butters, I have the Phazer as well. However you spell it. It is made by Rocky Mountain Radar, and it is a Radar with a jammer. They are so confident it works they will pay speeding tickets for one year after you buy it. The catch is the speeding has to be under 15mph over the limit, so if you are going 46 in a 30 you are SOL. BUT, this does seem to work for me. Though the radar is horse shit and I can see cops before the radar picks it up sometimes, it has saved me. Since buying it I've gotten pulled over 3x for 'Speeding' and never got a ticket. One of them I was going 24mph over (It's a back road that there are no houses on and no one ever takes, I endangered nothing). I'm not saying that all 3x weren't just dumb luck, but I'd say it works for me. It was like $250. I heard the ad on a local radio station cool.gif.
I have this one.

And this one is a straight jammer, nothing else.

EDIT!! These are not legal in some states, check your local laws out to see if you will get f*cked or not.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I've seen that laser jammers don't work at all. But that one, for nearly $600, it better work.</div> hahahaha.
i mean sure they can clearly see there may be no reading, or a reading too high or something, but there are LIDAR scramblers that decrease laser/radar scan range by 50%.
i have the escort solo S2. i'd say it works, and goes off all over the place in D.C. sensing all LIDAR at every goddamn light, but like you said it's close range. it also cost me somewhere around $250. there are other detectors that cost double that with scramblers.
also the reason i'm trying to get some more information on how well these things work is because florida and georgia troopers are a group of commies.
Blizaga, was the cop that pulled you suspicious about anything? i mean he must have noticed something wrong with his reading. lol man. also i hear it makes a huge difference if your radar is hooked up to a 12v rather than on batteries.

lol!!! if you're up against FL cops then you'll be screwed either way!
i found out that if a FL cop/trooper is "following" behind you at a rate of speed over the speed limit, that they can ticket you.
also if they could time a distance from point A to point B in a given amount of time, that they can also ticket you for speeding.
now that's just the basic jist i'm sure there's alot more to it than that. keep in mind none of those required a radar/laser gun!
your best bet-... DON'T SPEED!!!
i used to speed all the time-... but really i've gotten pulled over more times than i can count. luckily i've only got 3 speeding tickets out of it. 2 of them were with a very good radar detector. since then i've given up on the radar detector and given up on speeding.
it has made life so much easier on me (yes it kinda took the fun out of driving and i'm still late to work) but i save on gas, i don't have to buy anymore expensive radar detectors, less chances of accidents, and i'm done paying for traffic school/tickets/insurance!!!
SERIOUSLY, grow some self constraint and don't speed/drive like a jerk!
it takes some time to get used to and it's even a lil depressing @ times but still-.... i'm speaking from experience.

I looked at radarbusters.com, radartest.com along w/ others to help me decide w/ getting the beltronics rx65. I almost did get a jammer but articles from the sites always said they never worked and videos I found showed them not working. Youtube has a lot like these two:

Jamming works. I can tell you that for a fact. Now, it's possible that they are sending out a seccondary signal which is undetectable to radar detectors. There's an infinate number of frequencies out there. Who's to say they're using just those X, K, KA and laser? They could be using any frequency to bounce off the vehicle as a backup..
