^^ i know you asked optimo, but i know people in construction industry, if ya want i can ask around. granted im further south of optimo. and i know people at local colleges and i can ask about job placements and what companies are good.

they are building alot of new stuff around here so i would say construction is up and in the next 10 years they will be started new downtown skyscraper and new downtown baseball stadium. so if u are lookin to get into construction now would be the time.
right now they are finish a new highway overpass with 8 new exits and the are building a huge 3 story benz/caddy dealership up at the mall

If you're gonna move, then you might as well move to TX. Seriously, Dallas, SA, and Houston are all booming in construction.
You'll also not have to worry about the sniffer inspections and snow/rain. It's nice weather all year round.

^^^ohio dosent have inspections unless its from out of state. ( ive been thru 8vehicles and never any kind of inspection)
and if u do move from outta state i have a friend who has licence to do out of state inspection so you would be good to go.
but weather can get shitty. car cover and keeping your shit washed will help u ride clean

o, i know about shitty weather.. damnit i live in MI.. should be called SW, shitty weather..
neway, anyway, u guys can help that would be nice.. id like to stay in MI if i can, otherwise, id like to be close, but TX, NM, AZ might have to be options.. i know the S and SW are booming like crazy, while here in MI everything sux... and the state i move to CANT have vehicle emissions testing, or ill be screwed..
am looking into ABQ, NM and probably TX if this unemployment streek continues..
o and weather wise.. theres like a blizzard out, cant even see 20 ft. away and its sunny, what the f***..
