pretty sure he has to go to the dealer cause he only gots half the key, and a reguler key cutter can only duplicate keys, and if you only got half a key... well... aint gona work
and when i lost one of my keys, i went to get it cut but they told me there was a chip or something in the key cause it could open the doors, but it wouldnt start the ignition
does the dealership charge you for making the key? and how much if they do cause i still need a extra one

Yah toxic i cant go to a keyshop and get a key because i dont have a key for them to copy
DTN, i dont think i wanna do that. My luck i would break the window and since its c-c-c-ccold i dont think the glass would flex as much.
How am i gonna prove i own the car with all my information inside the car?

dude.. call a tow truck company and pay the 40 bucks to have them slim jim the car. Been there, done that. It does work. If you have to, call a locksmith, they can cut a key on the spot by trial and error.
You should always have duplicate keys. I have three extras sitting around either on other keyrings, at home, and one in the car so I can leave it running on a cold morning and still lock it.

Oh i guess i should update this, i was so caught up with my other thread i forgot about this one
I called hyundai rdside assistance and they sent a tow truck over and he got in with a coat hanger type method. It was free since my car still had road side assistance :-D
Then i went to the dealership and got a key, once i get the other part of the key out of the ignition cylinder it will start the car as well as open the door.
Oh and the guy gave the key to me for free after i told him about my other key. good guy. lol
