First off, have you tried a search? There are many things on captive and non-captive rotors including swaps. All have been gone through and in depth. sometimes those threads might be a lot more helpful to you and would save a little time.

Second, drilling into a rim is a bad idea. that can lead to cracking over time. go ahead and get both of your front left and right wheel hubs swapped to 2000 Tiburon spec. you can easily do this, both left and right swaps would cost you $200. no problem.

no problem. i was worried as heck when i found this out too. i got both hubs replaced to 2000 tib hubs all for $150 because my mechanic is cool like that. heheh.

good luck, and get some nice light rims. when you get tires for them, also make sure to get size 215/40/17, 215's are wider and when you hit a curb nothing will happen. when you're turning it won't rub against the fenderwall either. 215's will also absorb shock much better as it is our maximum height and width we can use for tires.

The tires i have are 205-40-zr17 made by BFgoodrich. they are nice and i got one heck of a deal on them. 150 for rims and tires. the tires have 90% tread left and the rims got painted a week ago by me. Black with a polished lip. I put them on just to take a picture and then took them off.
