why is it that some of the companys on kspec are starting to drop the beta 1 and moving on to beta 2 now? cant they do both or what. this sucks!

 

Probably because no new cars are coming with the Beta engines. It's all about money. If they are only going to be able to sell 10 sets of headers a year, why make them at all? Sucks, but that's the way businesses are run. If there is no demand, there will be no supply.

 

so will kspec try to find other companys that make beta 1 stuff ?. it just sucks i was planing to buy a BBTB next summer i ran out of funds so i couldnt get them now. and i wanted to buy the Airam later too, knowing my luck they will drop that one when i go to buy it.

 

Or get the head off of a Beta II engine and use some of the Beta II mods.

 

i think the airram is the same. it would just have a plug for the MAP sensor.

 

i dont know about getting a beta 2 head, i would just like to get stuff for my beta one when i go to buy stuff. i think its dumb to drop the beta 1 parts.other companys still sell stuff for old hondas you dont see them dropping products. companys should'nt drop products after the car has only been out for a bit!.

 

Because people still tune old Hondas like the 92-95... they can still sell hundreds upon hundreds of throttle bodies for those cars a year. They might sell forty throttle bodies for our cars a year in the U.S.

I don't know how extensive your mods are...but you can just get the Beta 2 head, b/c the only difference between the Beta I and the Beta II are the heads. Many people have just gone this route instead.

 

Sorry bro, I wish it were up to us. Fact is though, Korean companies that make parts don't consider the US or other countries at ALL. Why do you think we can't get MPH gauges from over there? Since Korea is moving away from the Beta series, so are they.

Maybe someone will come to their senses, but even RSide, with all the business THIS SITE gives them for Beta 1's, isn't making any BBTB's anymore, and said they won't make any more Short Shifters after this batch is gone.
