I'm in Hawthorne today, two motorcycle cops watching traffic on Hawthorne Ave. I pass by, I watch him, and he waits for about three cars to go past, then gets behind them, comes up on me and lights away!

Anyways, pulls me over for No front license plate. I give him my ticket - FROM LAST WEEK ( http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=13891 )- to him and he lets me go.

Gawd damnit!!!!!....... I guess I should seriously consider getting rid of my high profile vehicle. Its like having a spotlight on you while driving down the road.

I've been pulled 3 times, once each week, for the past three weeks......... W.T.F.!!!

does cali care if you put your front license like on your dashboard so its showing through the windshield?

 

Yeah, your not allowed to have your plate on your front windshield either. You have to have it mounted somewhere on the front of the car. I asked a Officer about even using those suckers to stick it to the windsheild, its still a no, no.

Hawthorne is like 5 min away from me. It was an illegal street racing hot spot for some time. They actually filmed fast and furious there. If you passed by the hawthorne plaza, they actually filmed fast and furious 3 there.

Some hawthorne cops are a-holes..

Stay away from hawthorne blvd. Take either prarie or inglewood ave.

 

Dude,I drive my tib ,which gets tons of attention from the po-po, without the front plate all the time. Hell I've even been stopped a couple of times and no one has ever said anything about the missing plate. The first month I drive my beater 300zx and I got a ticket for no front plate. WTF! $35 for being forgetful.

TT? Don't I wish! Straight up N/A. Still a fun rwd car to tool around in. It's got some kick for a 20 year old car with new headers and custom cat-back. It's going up for sale next month. Got to fund the big move!

Well, on the bright side the cuda kit has the perfect place to put a front plate on. Definately my second favorite kit.
