You shut up, the only reason hondas can beat alot of us is because they can but turbo kits for $20.00, their the cheapest cars to soup up. But the bottom line is that hondas are really godamn annoying as hell.
If you soup up a Tiburon with the same mods as a Civic the tiburon will come out on top.

First, why the **** should i shut up? Im just stating the facts... Telling ppl that this thread isnt 100% true. And the bottom line, im as tiburon owner now, not a honda owner, so you shut up.

Second, there turbo kits are still $3500+ unless your smart and piece one together off ebay.

third, Cheapest cars to mod? IF YOU GET THE KNOCK OFF CRAP. Spoon, Mugen, etc. make some of the most expensive aftermarket parts out there, and they only make them for hondas, CHEAP MY ***.

fourth, why are hondas annoying? BECAUSE SOME KIDS MAKE THEM HAVE A BAD RAP BY GETTING THE CHEAP CRAP AND MAKING THERE CAR LOOK AND SOUND LIKE CRAP.

Put the same money into any DOHC Honda vs a tib, honda wins...if you wanna put a SOHC Civic/Delsol vs a tib, tib wins. wow

Mat dont be a gay... not all Honda parts are cheap... turbo kits for our cars are just the same as turbo kits for other cars. You might see a $1000 kit for a Honda, but its probably a turbo, the manifold, and piping made of cheap quality. Thats it...

I know lots of Honda tuners that make their cars right, and a few of them are faster than my GSX. I know lots of Honda tuners that their cars are crap.

Honda is a popular tuning platform because of the great design of their engines... put most Honda engines against the Beta, and the Honda will win. Being a popular tuning platform means most newbies start with it, because they are cheap and they work. Hence the 90% of them are retards.

 

Hey easy fellas. Show me a tiburon that runs under 12 seconds, and you'll see 5 or 6 civics that do the same. They have a good motor and there are amillion of them out there. There are alot of "riced out" ones but there are a lot of "riced out" tiburons too. Just take a look at cardomain.

 

I dont like honda's because here in VA everytime i turned around. Honda this, Honda that. Im sick of them. Everyone either has one or wants one. I just got tired of it. And everytime i go to a parts store. there is honda parts but none that i need. They are popular. and its annoying but they are fast. But here not many are 12 second cars. and a lot of people drive around with unpainted bodykits. I dont see the problem. Yes it looks stupid. but that is hard earned money to just be sitting around in the garage for 2 years. Most of them are kids who are trying there hardest spend endless hours working so they can buy things for there cars and still dont have enough. They are proud of what they have and what they have worked hard for. What is so bad about being proud of something they bought with there hard earned money? As long as they are happy. who cares what you guys think.

Hey now, I hate "ricer" hondas just as much as the next person. However, I have a friend running a 10 sec. civic....so I have respect for Honda TUNERS. There is a huge difference between a "ricer" and a "tuner"...figure out which side you are talking about before you start bashing. I have seen Tiburons that have been completely "riced" out. Not a pretty sight. Its that way with any car that you can modify. Don't hate the "tuner", hate the "ricer".

you guys need to chill, hondas arent bad cars, there very very reliable, but like most people said on here, the ricer hondas are horrible, but dont hate the car manufacturer, hate the person that dicks there car all up. and remember, the car doesnt make the person, the person makes the car..not all 4 door automatic accords came with 18 inch wings on the back..

 

Sorry if I pissed anyone off, Its that all that we have in Bemidji is 96.8% of hondas then we have 2% of eclipses, and another 2% of Escorts, Im the only one with a Tiburon, So if you lived with me youd get mad at all of the damn civics runnin around.
