Default A little Help about SAFC2

Before you order those AVS's, Bouve, look into the Avon Tech M500 tire. I read an article on TireRack where the Avon's outperformed the Yokohama AVS E100, Bridgestone Potenza RE750 and Goodyear Eagle RS-A.

I didn't order anything yet, but I will check those out, I have also been looking into some Toyo stuff. A guy at the place I usually get my tires at has them and he recommended them. I'm gonna look around a little bit yet. I just ordered my wheels though.. the ENKEI's. Can't wait!

Default My project.

congrats for choosing 16's
I sold my 17's in the spring, and got a set of 16's.
I dressed the rims in Toyo Proxies 4 the new tire from Toyo.
Size: 205/45/16

Yes the size is correct for a 16" rim, the speedo is only off a tiny bit.

Yes, the tires are amazing. They grip and grip and grip, even in the wet they are still a great tire. I have had them on my car since early May.

Default Re: Kudos to Kspec

i heard some pretty good things about BFGoodrich's Scorcher T/A's.

they could go good if you're doin a color theme. for example, all blue accents w/ blue treaded tires could go good w/ the car...

although... they don't make 'em in 16s (or Tire Rack doesn't sell 'em in 16s)

Has anyone heard anything about the Toyo Proxes T1-S tire?

Default Re: Another AC Problem

the Toyo Proxies TS-1 tire is one of their best tires, it has better grip than the Proxes4 but it will not last as long. They use a really sticky compound for that tire. And it is a very expensive tire. If you have the bucks, and you are not worried about tire wear, go for the TS-1. If you want a little more life out of your tire get the Proxes 4.

Default Led Bulb Replacement...

I read an article on that TS-1 as well. They tested it on a track, it grabbed good at first but started to loose traction as the tires were run for a while. If you don't race at all, go with the longer lasting tire. If racing is your thing, then go with the softer compound. I would still look into those Avons.
