Ok I plan on buying these wheels... Enkei OR52 , 16x7 , in Anthracite. I will also be putting on some KYB Struts along with the Eibach springs so I should be dropped about 1.5". My question is what SIZE and BRAND/MODEL tire should I go with. I want to keep a fairly nice ride nothing rough. So I guess I want to avoid the really low profile tire. I was thinking for size maybe something around 215/50/16? Or would I be better of with 205/xx/16? Any help would be great! Price isn't a huge issue either although I would like to keep it under $150 a tire. A little more doesn't hurt though if need be.

going to a 16inch rim... you are going to be running a 205/45/16 size tire.. that is the closest you can get to stock rolling diameter...

As for tyres, I am running Bridgestone Potenza re750s.. not a bad tyres, but pricey at $120+ a tire. Too bad the dealership killed them when they screwed my alignment up... the fronts were half worn in less than a month before I got the car realighned and the tyres rotated.

I am liking the new pirelli tire. the PZero Nero m+s. The M+S stands for mud and snow... it is an all season radial that according to the tire rack.. outperforms my re750s even in the dry.. the 750s are a summer tire.. and they are more quiet and comfortible to boot...

I think I found my next tire

In another thread someone was asking about Enkei rims fitting tibs, well here is the spec's on the tire I'm looking at http://www.enkei.com/PerfSpecPAGES/or52Specs.html from what this page sez they should fit no prob. But Mad mentioned 205/45/16 tires, what about a 215/xx/16 tire? Would something in this size fit? I just don't know a lot about wheels and tires besides what I have read on the forums. Any help would be great.

If you're gonna go with a 16x7 inch wheel you can fit a 215/45/16 or 205/45/16. I wouldn't deviate too much from this as if you go to a 50 or taller tire, you will throw off your speedo.

Ok well since I don't really want to through off my Speedo then I'll go with the 205/45/16's just because of the price on the 215/45/16's (a little to high for what I want to spend).

I would consider the BF Goodrich T/A KDW. They are awesome tires with an awesome new tread. They were very popular at NOPI last week.

Look around, I saw them selling for $145 each at the show.

I was gonna get the BF Goodrich T/A KDW, but I decided against it.
They are very cool looking, and very pricey.

I did some research, and asked around different shop to see what was what I wanted, ... Great on dry, and Great on wet!

My Hankook's freakin rule, I have not lost grip in the rain yet!
VERY grippy, I highly recommend them.
